Ever since I was a little girl I knew that what you put on each day made an impact on how you feel. After I secured the highly prestigious slot for my high schools best dressed, everything after that was history. I studied Fashion Merchandising at Purdue University, and knew that this was the path for me. Since graduating I have worked in menswear, luxury retail, and tiptoed into marketing and interior design.
I have been called a huge "flight risk" by several. Currently, I live in Dallas but have lived in glorious Indiana, California, Arizona, and studied abroad in Italy. My sister lives in Georgia and my family lives in Chicago. From city to city I collect the best worth seeing, tasting, styling, and remembering.
When I started in menswear at my first job I thought it was the coolest thing. I was obsessed with surfing and skate brands, and still am. I first started in luxury retail in Chicago, then picked up menswear again in Arizona and Dallas. I have always flirted with ready to wear but my one true love is menswear. Working in mens suiting was exciting because you can create such a fun look with something so easy as a suit. When my dad needs something new for his wardrobe I cannot wait to go with him. My everyday inspiration comes from Nick Wooster, Herman Bystrom, and of course Leandra Medine.
